Several leading attorneys will take part in a roundtable discussion on evaluating and selecting experts including assessing the skills, traits, and experience that expert witnesses need to possess in order to be effective in consulting and in giving testimony in lawsuits.

Jeff Walsh is a commercial litigator who has practiced law for over 37 years. As co-chair of Greenberg Traurig's Construction Law Practice and former head of the Phoenix Litigation Group, he represents plaintiffs and defendants in business, commercial and construction disputes. He takes cases on an hourly rate and on alternative billing arrangements. Mr. Walsh has been recognized for over 12 years in Best Lawyers in America for commercial litigation, construction litigation and real estate litigation. He has also been recognized over the past eight years by Southwest Super Lawyers, including, since 2009, as one of its Top 50 Attorneys, in AZ Business Leaders’ "Top Attorneys of Arizona", in Arizona Business Magazine's "Top 100 Lawyers in Arizona", and in the Business Journal's"Best of the Bar in Phoenix Metropolitan Area."
His practice focuses on resolution of business, construction and other commercial disputes in litigation, arbitration and in other venues, and on appeal. He has served as lead trial counsel in over 40 trials, arbitrations and evidentiary hearings for injunctive relief, appointment of a receiver, imposition of a constructive trust, and other relief. He has also briefed and argued over two dozen appeals for public and private sector clients. He has appeared in courts in Arizona, California, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Michigan, Colorado, New York, Texas, Indiana and Louisiana. He received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Kevin practices in the area of construction law and commercial litigation, including real estate litigation and bankruptcy matters.
He advises contractors and design professionals regarding construction laws and issues, and has substantial experience in construction litigation. Kevin has represented commercial owners, contractors, design professionals homebuilders and homeowners in disputes involving private and public contracts, lien disputes, construction and design defects and other issues. He has negotiated and drafted contracts for construction industry professionals and acted as outside general counsel for contractors and design professionals. He also advises commercial property owners and developers to resolve real estate disputes.
Kevin has successfully handled bench and jury trials, arbitration hearings, administrative hearings before the Registrar of Contractors, and appeals before the Arizona Court of Appeals, the Arizona Supreme Court, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School.
