Doing More with PDF Files

Everyone uses PDF files nowadays, but often they are just seen as a static repository for information, valuable only because they ‘freeze’ a document for review. But in this mini-course you will learn that with more advanced PDF software you can:

  • Securely redact text so that personal information is impossible to retrieve from the PDF file.
  • Crop pages so that extraneous material is hidden.
  • Add bookmarks so that you can quickly go to important parts of the document.
  • Edit the text in a PDF file.
  • Turn a PDF into an impromptu slide show.
  • Shrink huge PDFs into much smaller and more manageable documents.
  • And more…
