Janis Hui Ozaki is an attorney in the Business Litigation Department of Dykema's Los Angeles office. She is a member of the National Trial Team. She focuses on business and contract disputes, partnership disputes, fraud, and commercial real estate disputes.
Ms. Ozaki has successfully prosecuted and defended cases in state and federal courts and private arbitration. She listens to clients and develops intelligent and efficient litigation strategies to resolve legal and business problems. Her strengths include effectively communicating client narratives and legal arguments in brief writing and in the courtroom. Ms. Ozaki works with clients from a broad array of industries, including but not limited to real estate, apparel, manufacturing, import-export, food and beverage, hospitality and entertainment.
Ms. Ozaki has been named to both the Southern California Super Lawyers® Rising Star and Top Women Attorney lists for Business Litigation every year since 2012. Ms. Ozaki is a Lecturer at UCLA School of Law where she teaches legal research and writing. Ms. Ozaki speaks fluent Cantonese.
