About the Presenter: Christopher Cherney

Christopher has been a California-licensed nursing administrator since 1997, and he has consulted on more than 100 cases in 12 states as a testifying witness. He has worked as an administrator for seven nursing home organizations. In 2001, he was the first employee of Kaiser Permanente’s first- and only-ever freestanding nursing home, in San Leandro, California. Since 2013, he has taught eight different courses on health care and gerontology to more than 900 students at San Jose State University, San Francisco State University, and CSU East Bay. He received a B.A. in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University and an M.A. in Gerontology from San Francisco State University
