Paul Rolf Jensen, Principal, JENSEN & ASSOCIATES, APC, Trial Lawyers, has been practicing law more than 25 years, and is pictured here after arguing a case at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in Pasadena. With an educational background that includes Duke University Law School and the University of California, Berkeley (where he did his undergraduate work) Jensen is an accomplished and successful advocate, having tried dozens of jury cases on behalf of plaintiffs, while obtaining settlements without trial in hundreds and hundreds of other cases, resulting in verdicts and settlements as high as eight figures. Jensen has also argued more than 20 cases before various courts of appeal, including one notable case before the United States Supreme Court. Jensen has hired and used experts in every single case he has tried to a jury, and on more than 100 other occasions in cases that settled on the eve of trial.
He also has served in government, most notably as Senior Counsel of the United States Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. Jensen has also worked in senior positions for United States Senators Jeremiah Denton and Bob Smith. In 1990, Jensen began his legal career as a law clerk to Chief Judge Robinson Everett of the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.
Jensen has appeared on national television on Fox and Friends (with Judge Andrew Napolitano), Good Morning America, Anderson Cooper 360, Hannity and Colmes, the Today Show and CNN Presents.
Jensen is an avid sailor, and he, his wife and three sons live in Newport Beach.
Timothy T. Williams, Jr. is a twenty-nine year retired Senior Detective Supervisor from the Los Angeles Police Department retiring form the elite Robbery-Homicide Division. During his tenure with the Los Angeles Police Department, Mr. Williams completed over twenty-six years of various detective assignments including but not limited to robbery, homicide, domestic violence, child abuse, rape, sexual assault, juvenile and narcotic investigations.
Mr. Williams is a requested speaker on Criminal Justice and Police Procedure issues. He was also an instructor at Los Angeles City College in the Administration of Justice Department, where he taught for over fifteen years. Mr. Williams completed his undergraduate studies at California State University at Los Angeles, Majoring in Criminal Justice. He is a graduate of Police Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.), Supervisory Leadership Institute and a graduate of the West Point Leadership Program.
As a Police Procedure Expert and Use of Force Expert, Mr. Williams has worked with such prominent attorneys as Thomas A. Mesereau, Jr., Mark Geragos, Debra A. Opri, Edi M. O. Faal, Christopher A. Mr. Williams is a Police Procedure Expert, Use of Force Expert and Domestic Violence Expert in both State and Federal courts. He has also appeared as a Police Procedure and Use of Force commentator on radio, cable television and network TV.
Elizabeth Lane Crooke has been a member of Engstrom, Lipscomb & Lack since 1979. She specializes in mass tort with an emphasis on aviation litigation, environmental and toxic tort law, pharmaceutical litigation, government agency liability, and products liability. She has been appointed by the Court as lead and liaison counsel in a mass aviation disaster litigation and in pharmaceutical litigation. She has served as trial counsel on a number of landmark cases, including cases of regional groundwater, soil and air contamination.
Ms. Crooke is a member of Engstrom, Lipscomb & Lack's aviation team, and holds a private pilot certificate and radiotelephone operator permit. She has also studied airframe and power plant maintenance. She has been a frequent speaker at industry seminars and continuing legal education programs and has authored a number of articles; including journal articles in Los Angeles Lawyer, the journal of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, where she has also served for a number of years on its Editorial Board. She earned her undergraduate degree in environmental biology at University of California, Santa Barbara (B.A.) and earned her law degree at Loyola Marymount University (J.D., cum laude 1979).
Mr. Depew received his J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 1979. He is admitted to the State Bar of California, the U.S. District Court of the Central District of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals 9th Circuit. Mr. Depew specializes in scientific, medical, and causation issues. He has successfully tried air and groundwater contamination cases, pharmaceutical cases, mercury spill cases, and tobacco cases. His extensive litigation experience has earned him a place on the American Board of Trial Advocates.
