Chapter Event: Northern California
Join the NorCal Chapter of the Forensic Expert Witness Association at our new East Bay location (with close proximity to BART) to hear “A Trial Lawyer’s Best Practices for Experts: What All Experts Should Know,” presented by JEFF MAKOFF, Esq., with Valle Makoff LLP, a firm that offers superior litigation and dispute resolution services throughout California.
Attendees will gain tips on how trial lawyers seek and find Experts, what practices they look for in vetting and hiring an Expert, how experts should manage expectations when some of the expert's opinions, knowledge or experience may hurt the case on cross-examination, report writing tips, preparation for deposition and trial, and more.
Join us at our exciting NEW venue, Tullio’s Italian Restaurant in Walnut Creek, for this informative meeting and the opportunity to meet a Super Lawyer. Check the NorCal carpool schedule to organize a ride share, or let us know if you need a pick up/ride to the close-by BART station. A NorCal Board member will see that you are accommodated.
