  • What does the jury understand?
  • How to get the jury's attention?
  • How to use demonstratives/present visually
  • Bench vs. Jury trial
  • Federal vs. State vs. ADR
  • How should experts communicate prior to trial?
  • Best practices of expert/attorney team workmanship
  • Best practices for communication (format, bring it up ahead of time)
  • Send experts more info (depositions, MSJ, etc.)
  • What info does the expert need to see?
  • Define scope of expert's engagement
  • Define team of experts and roles
  • Timing for involving experts (early vs. late)
  • An expert's reliance on the work of others (staff)
  • What is the expert's prior testimony in light of the current testimony?

There has been a change in venue to network and learn about the interworkings of attorneys and Experts at Rutan & Tucker! Meet at 5:30 to network with the attorneys and your fellow Experts.
