At this event you will learn tips and tricks to save yourself from making simple but costly mistakes from long time experts. Panel will discuss their perspectives and share their knowledge. This is an open question forum and is meant to be an interactive & participative event for ALL members and nonmembers.

PANELISTS

Kerrie Merrifield, CPA, ABV, CFF, MAFF - Axiom Forensics

Kerrie Merrifield has been working in the accounting, forensic accounting and litigation support field for over 30 years. Kerrie's main focus is on complex civil litigation, forensic accounting, family law and economic damage analysis. Kerrie has worked on over 175 case matters and has been qualified as and testified as an expert witness in both bench and jury trials. Kerrie is committed to complete client satisfaction and producing only the highest quality reports guaranteeing you exceptional and professional results.

Kerrie is the currently involved in many industry organizations Boards and community organizations including:

  • Chair of the Litigation Forensic Board with NACVA
  • President of the OC FEWA Chapter
  • Board member for NACVA's Business Interruption educational creative team (create educational webinars)
  • Treasurer of the Aliso-Niguel Rotary Club

Kerrie's teaching experience includes seminars on Business Interruption Claims with NACVA.

George Reis, LEVA, IAI - Imaging Forensics 

George Reis is the owner of Imaging Forensics, providing forensic photography, photographic analysis and video analysis in legal matters. He also provides workshops in these subjects throughout the world, and has provided training to the US Secret Service, FBI, US Army Crime Lab, Singapore Police Service, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, etc.

Prior to starting Imaging Forensics in 2004, he was a forensic photographer with the Newport Beach Police Department. He started his career as a photojournalist and was a staff photographer with the Los Angeles Times in the early 1980s.

Ernest Orchard, CCI, CEI - Orchard Roofing & Waterproofing Consultants 

Ernest Orchard, owner of Orchard Roofing and Waterproofing Consultants has been a professional roofing consultant since 1982. Prior to 1982, Orchard spent approximately 10 years working national and international construction as a journeyman roofer/foreman/superintendent. Orchard's firm specializes in expert investigation in roofing and waterproofing systems failures, and in the specification and quality control for new or replacement systems.
