Michael J. Perrotti, PhD completed his first year of Doctoral Studies at the New School of Social Research in New York. He completed his doctoral studies and received his PhD from Alliant University in San Diego.
Dr. Perrotti was vice-president of PSI CHI National Honor Society in Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Dr. Perrotti and his research team have conducted pro bono services with Ventura County domestic violence shelter and rape-crisis hotline. Dr. Perrotti was assistant professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Keck School of Medicine, USC (2005-2006).
Dr. Perrotti received his initial forensic experience and training at Delaware State Hospital-Forensic Service. Dr. Perrotti is a Certified Forensic Expert by Inland Southern Chapter of California Psychological Association. Dr Perrotti is a court-certified expert in eyewitness identification, neuropsychology and false confessions. He is a published expert in trauma and has a featured article in American Psychological Association Division of Trauma Journal. He has a published chapter on Methodology for conducting Bonding Studies in Child Custody Evaluations: An integration with Neuroscience.
Dr. Perrotti has a multi-speciality practice as a medical reviewer for third party review organizations. He is an expert witness in civil, criminal, and family courts. He conducts individual, family and marital therapy and provides peer reviewed presentations to psychologists and conducts research. He is a member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology. He has authored articles on Neuroblast Trauma and Traumatic Brain Injury.
