FEWA Member Earns Certified Forensic Litigation Consultant (CFLC) Credential

Congratulations to FEWA’s newest Certified Forensic Litigation Consultant (CFLC) credential recipient!

Homer Peterson of the Houston Chapter was granted the professional designation of Certified Forensic Litigation Consultant (CFLC). By virtue of his qualifications as a practicing expert witness, continuing education, participation in FEWA, and passing the CFLC Online Exam; he met the minimum criteria required of Certified Forensic Litigation Consultants.

Mr. Peterson specializes in occupational health & safety management systems, standards of care, wrongful death, personal injury, negligence, construction, safety, falls from elevation, fall protection, high-rise construction, OSHA matters, and steel erection.  His 40 years of construction and safety experience (17 union, 23 non-union), has included airports, bridges, casinos, convention centers, convocation centers, distribution centers, hospitals, hotels, manufacturing facilities, office buildings, paper mills, pharmaceutical plants, power plants, prisons, refineries, residential construction, schools, shopping malls, sports arenas, steel mills, stores, and warehouses.

FEWA established the Certified Forensic Litigation Consultant (CFLC) credential in 2014 for qualified expert witnesses and forensic consultants. The CFLC is granted exclusively to FEWA Professional members who have met the eligibility criteria established requiring significant participation in FEWA activities and completion of education courses in the subjects of forensic analysis, litigation consulting and expert witnessing.
