This presentation is to describe and explain an acronym that is used by attorneys to set up their cross examinations, C-R-O-S- S. Where C is to destruct the experts credibility, R is to restrict the experts answers, O is to elicit outrageous statements from the Expert, S - Use prior statements from the articles written, lectures, or Facebook statements that do not agree with opinions presented in the current case and , finally, the second S which is solicit statements that support their case. For the role play section, Dr. Spankovich will play the role of the cross examination attorney attempting to follow the CROSS acronym and Dr. Colucci will be the expert witness on the stand working to honestly present the truth. After the instruction and role play, the presenters will summarize the points presented and answer questions by the participants.
