The Forensic Expert Witness Association is an association of consultants providing forensic services and is dedicated to the professional development, ethics, and promotion of forensic consultants in all fields of discipline. FEWA values both the professional development of its current members, as well as the organization as a whole. In order to continue delivering valuable benefits to its members and the expert witness community, FEWA relies on the work of volunteers serving on the subsequent committees. Any FEWA member is welcome and encouraged to join a committee, if interested please e-mail National Office at info@forensic.org.
Membership CommitteeThe Membership Committee is tasked with promoting and building the value of FEWA membership both internally and externally. To get involved, contact the National Office.
Conference Planning CommitteeThe Conference Planning Committee is planning the program and details of the FEWA National Conference, which takes places annually. To get involved, contact the National Office.
Bar and Public Relations CommitteeThe FEWA Marketing Committee shall review and recommend the marketing and public relations activities of FEWA in promoting FEWA to attorneys and affiliates. The goal of the committee is to raise awareness about FEWA as a resource to attorneys seeking forensic consultants and experts, and to promote FEWA and its members as the “gold standard”. Education and Credentialing CommitteeThe FEWA Credentialing Committee is designated with developing the criteria and curriculum for the forensic consultant advanced designation. The Credentialing Committee began as a task force while researching the interest and core of an advanced designation or certification. The newly formed Committee is further developing the advanced designation to be reviewed and approved by the FEWA National Board of Directors.
