For almost 40 years, he was the President and Owner of Dearborn Overhead Crane and is presently the President and Owner of Overhead Crane Consulting, LLC. Larry is currently a member of; - ASME/ANSI B30.2 Overhead and Gantry Cranes - ASME/ANSI B30.16 Electric Hoists - ASME/ANSI B30.17 Single Girder and Under Running Cranes - AIST (American Institute of Steel Technology) Technical Report 13, Mill Buildings with Overhead Cranes Larry is an authorized OSHA Trainer and certified overhead crane inspector. He was the former Executive Director of the Crane Certification Association of America. Larry has spoken at the American Institute of Steel Technology Crane Symposium (six times), the Crane Certification Association of America annual conference, the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association annual conference, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers World Class Crane Maintenance Conference (twice), and the Forensic Expert Witness Association (twice). His clients include General Dynamics/Electric Boat, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, 3M, Freeport McMoRan, Liberty Mutual Insurance, and the United States Air Force.
