You know the expression “It’s not WHAT you say, it’s HOW you say it.” Learn the latest research on how to use good body language and vocal presence to build your success as an expert witness—in Court and on Zoom. During this presentation participants will learns the following: - The power of what your HANDS do to underscore or undercut your expertise.

- FACIAL EXPRESSIONS to inspire confidence.
- Using EYE CONTACT to build trust.
- Special tips for using body language persuasively on ZOOM.
This presentation is appropriate for all levels and no prerequisites are required prior the presentation.

Dr. Janet Palmer President of Communication Excellence Institute, a professional consulting firm in leadership communication in the greater Los Angeles area, Dr. Janet Larsen Palmer has over 40 years’ experience as a Professor of Communication, a Fortune 500 corporate manager, and a university administrator. Author of three books and many articles, she has consulted on communication with individual executives, universities, healthcare organizations, and corporations, both in the U.S. and Europe. Dr. Palmer has won over 25 national and regional awards for her teaching, research, business leadership, and public service in communication. As a faculty member of the Executive Leadership and Management Institute at Stanford University and the Executive Doctorate Program of the University of Pennsylvania, she has offered specialized programs on communication skills (particularly body language) for academic professionals and business leaders. She also has extensive experience working with attorneys to prepare their clients for testimony. Her work with expert witnesses has been especially well received. Janet Larsen Palmer holds a B.S., M.A., and Ph.D. from the School of Communication at Northwestern University.
